Any Irish Brides available to you? Is someone else getting married in Ireland?

Congrats Cait soon to get then just just what place have u picked?

Littleredhead a good option for the hen do in the west coast could be galway for me – in fact il prob have mine there but if u are goin in a large group be mindful to get into pubs in smaller teams just as if they kno u are really a hen u could possibly get turned away.

Just as much as i love sligo i wouldnt suggest a hen here! Plus galway comes with an airport where u can fly in from a good few areas

We are living in manchester and hopin to move back home soon but am finding it difficult to make any plans bein so far away – the internet is my saviour and email my friend that is best (therefore sad) lol!

Im up in Northern Ireland. We have married in Belfast in 25 times.

Ooh, many many thanks for the advice – but could we ask; why could you perhaps maybe maybe not recommend Sligo? Will it be given that it’s quiet and small? If so, which is exactly what i am interested in!

I truly want someplace we are able to lease a cottage nearby the coastline, decide on long coastline walks and discover a lovely cosy but pub that is lively instead of pubs or groups, for the evenings!

I am aware it seems actually stupid and like We fall for every thing I see on television, but i’d like the sort of Ireland the truth is in movies like PS I adore you – with plenty of rurally goodness and old-fashioned music. H2B’s moms and dads are Irish (though he is never resided there) and we’re having several nods to that particular in the marriage (Irish ceilidh rather than a disco. Can not wait! ) as both of us are really taken with Irish music, dance and tradition. I would ike to follow the theme back at my hen too night!

I’M Irish and residing in Cheshire. Not going to get married in Ireland but I would imagine we will have a ongoing celebration for family and friends who cant make.

Littleredhead – I agree with Bacon to be, Galway is just a place that is great get and you may frequently find trad music etc in little pubs and its own on the cobecausetline also. Maybe go out a little further towards Clifden after which there is the choice of going into Galway in the event that you have a little annoyed or even for materials.

Gorgeous area of the country however.

It’s tiny not alot of clubs which is the reason why i wouldnt reccomend it for that – but coastline wise we do involve some gorgeous ones esp aughris head beach which includes a little beach club having a thatched roof. Then again u are very far out of anythig else actually – galway has a great mixture of both great beaches great atmosphere and if exactly what u are searching for is just a ceili I quickly would reccomend Taffes club on store st! Constantly a fantastic musical organization here with outstanding environment

If u lookup sligo beaches there maybe a few more – strandhill is a lovely spot with a couple of bars (have trad music too) and stunning coastline (actually where mr bacon proposed. )

Hope that can help

I am A irish bride, surviving in Manchester atm, but going back again to the north coastline in about four weeks or more (originally from Lisburn), H2B offers their dream job there – yey!! Sooo. Wow, thank you for all of the advice, specially considering we completely hijacked your thread! I obtained spoke and overexcited to my MOH about this; we are really now taking a look at Sligo and County Cork. Maybe not the town it self, but somewhere more rural when you look at the county.

I will be from Sligo, residing in London and having hitched in Italy i realize exacltly what the going through with maybe perhaps not being there to organise etc. Can be very stressfull. Where have you been marrying and where is reception??

Littleredhead – if you’re taking a look at cork clonakilty is a lcoation that is great some lovely restaurants and pubs with live music plus some great beaches when you look at the vicinity

MrsMac2010 – i will be additionally from Ireland (carlow) surviving in London and having married in Italy; o)

LittleRedHead -I got hitched in Cork City final October!!

We married within the North Cathedral together with our reception in Blarney. Location-wise it really is superb rather than too much through the town either. It’s possible to have your picture’s taken during the castle helping to make a backdrop that is lovely allowing. Day unfortunately, we weren’t able to take advantage of this as it rained (unusually for Ireland!! ) on our wedding!

We had been straight straight back during the place on Sunday for the anniversary dinner, and merely occurred to look into their wedding brochures. They usually have some fantastic packages there which appear really the best value for money.

There is also a hotel that is sister Bunratty, Co Clare that will be simply gorgeous! We invested our vacation here after having a disaster that is slight the initial resort we booked, as well as could not do sufficient for people!

Hope it will help. Email me personally if you’d like further assistance or info.

BTW – should you elect to visit Galway, DON’T go right to the Galway Bay. That has been where we had a tragedy using the available spaces, together with to go to Bunratty. The ‘G’ is way better IMO.

Hi I experienced my hen week-end at Lough Rynn this past year, it’s therefore breathtaking, we remained when you look at the accommodation thats within the grounds, high grade accommodation. Had lunch in Lough rynn it was lovely, it had been so cosy the direction they have actually the split seating areas it’s like getting your very own family room, the top space for which you could have your pre dinner products was lovely, that they had the biggest christmas tree up. Looking to return back this present year for the very first anniversary and stay at Lough rynn. Enjoy all the prep for the wedding I happened to be on this type of downer whenever ours ended up being over.
